Conservative Nature of the Colombian Women

 One of the most important things men take into account when establishing a relationship with a Colombian woman is her conservative personality or conservative nature. This is very attractive for foreigners due to the differences existing in developed societies talking about women behavior nowadays.

But what does this mean? Does this have something to do with politics?

No, it’s not anything other than living life according to certain behavior guidelines. These guidelines are given by society trying to keep members acting in the “correct” way. According to what one’s society thinks is the correct way of doing thin gs. We can say that any society establishes that acting in the correct way so as not to hurt another member of society.

In this way a conservative culture and society establishes that people should follow certain parameters that allow people to live in peace.

This is readily noticeable in Colombia, where although there are liberal minds finding their way into our society, many women still maintain that liberal spirit of life but live a very conservative life in their sentimental relationships in order not to hurt men or not to be hurt emotionally. Of course, here we are talking about a serious, lasting relationship.

But what does being conservative mean? Well, it is none other than those things which are being organized and disciplined in all the activities the person does: being respectful, not doing anything that could hurt others, especially in the case with whom she has a relationship.  It means to practice different principles considered as socially accepted values in society. Those are the values where harmony and peace could be reached. Values that seek the good and justice, such as respect, tolerance, honesty, loyalty, work, and responsibility.

The Colombian woman is a person who has inner values and lives according to them; this is what makes her special among women from other countries and other cultures.

So in this manner, Colombian women, in order to maintain peace and harmony in their relationships, practice all these values framed in conservative behavior willing to start, keep and develop a  healthy relationship. This doesn’t mean they can’t have fun or enjoy life, of course they need to have a great time in life, not in vain is just one life which we have, and we have to make the most of it while having it but without forgetting about the limits needed in order not to offend the values established.  

So as Colombian women we know the kind of relationship wanted, and we want to keep the relationship steady, so we need to act in a conservative manner and in this way the relationship with the foreigner will last forever and ever or minimum as desired.
